After School Explorers with Preston County Schools

After School Explorers, a mainstay in out of school programming in the county, is celebrating 15 years of service.  After School Explorers attributes much of the success to the commitment of the dedicated staff and the continued community support. Its programs like After School Explorers, that supports Preston County students in succeeding well in academic competitions at both the state and national levels.  Former graduates have matriculated to Harvard and other prestigious colleges and universities. Preston County Schools continues to make forward progress to promote One Voice, One Vision: All students achieving.

The goal of this project is to enhance student achievement through school and community high tunnels and school raised bed gardens and to increase parent and community involvement in the school gardening programs.
