Wind Dance Farm & Earth Education Center

Wind Dance Farm & Earth Education Center, Inc. is designed to provide educational opportunities that are dedicated to increase awareness and understanding of how the earth works, how humans interact with the earth, and the importance of preservation, conservation, and ecological thinking.  Wind Dance Farm & Earth Education Center also guides participants towards peaceful conflict resolution and models decision-making strategies that emphasize respect for people and the earth. Wind Dance Farm hopes to extend outreach for educational programs and collaborate with local organizations to develop programs.
Wind Dance Farm aims to do so by combatting poverty and helping youth facing the challenges that comes with poverty by utilizing a West Virginia's Promise AmeriCorps VISTA volunteer. The educational programs offered include growing, harvesting, and preparing healthy foods in a healthy environment.  Students are also supported with a safe and loving environment, and get outdoors often, which also supports a healthy body and mind.
