The Salvation Army Boys & Girls Club was established in 1965 in Charleston, West Virginia. Currently, their organization has two locations: West Side of Charleston and St. Alban’s, where they focus on the priority outcome areas of academic success, healthy lifestyles, and good character and citizenship. With their continued efforts of impacting the young people in their local communities, they are looking to expand even further.

Mission: Their mission is simple: To enable all young people, especially those who need them the most, to realize their full potential as productive, responsible, and caring citizens.
Vision: The Salvation Army Boys & Girls Club vision aims to provide a world-class Club Experience that assures success for every young person who enters their doors. Such endeavors put all members on track to graduate from high school with a plan for the future, while demonstrating good character, citizenship and living a healthy lifestyle. ​
